Hi I'm Conner Perrin

I grew up in Idaho. I am a Human Biology major at BYU-I. I am currently serving a mission in Baltimore Maryland. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Hello, my name is Conner Perrin. I am the oldest of five kids. I have one brother and three sisters. Growing up I have always loved being outdoors, and have especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. I love playing sports. Through the years I have played soccer, baseball, basketball, swim team, and tennis. Since the fifth grade I have also come to love playing music. I play an assortment of instruments including the trumpet, french horn, and ukulele. Music has become a passion of mine. Something about it brings me closer to my Creator as I am able to take a piece of metal and make a symphony of sound, just as does with us. Aside from my hobbies and pastimes I enjoy spending time with my family whether we are playing board games or having a big wrestling match. I am currently enrolled at Brigham Young University Idaho. I have completed one semester so far, studying as a Human Biology Major. I am now taking a two year break from school to be a missionary for the church. On the 27th of January 2016 I entered a training center in Mexico city to learn how I can be an instrument in the Lord's hands to further His kingdom upon the earth, and to learn the Spanish language. I am currently serving the people of Baltimore Maryland. Preaching to all the love of Christ and of His mercy for all that will receive.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because, I know that this gospel is true. Through my faith I have come to know and understand my Father in Heaven. This church gives me a purpose. In following the guidelines and commandments that we are given I feel free of the pains and sorrows associated with breaking these commandments. I love being a member of this church. There is a great spirit that is felt as I live my faith. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and that it is another testament of Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer, and through him I can return to live with my Father in Heaven. I know that God answers prayer. I know my Heavenly Father is always there for me, and with Him all things are possible.

How I live my faith

I am actively attending my church services every Sunday. I enjoy partaking of the sacrament every Sunday. As well, I have attended a mission preparation class, and a gospel principles class. I enjoy going to the temple, and feeling the spirit of this holy place. I just finished my first semester at BYU-I. While there I took a religion class, and am currently a missionary for the church. These are just a few ways I choose to live my faith.
