Hi I'm Colleen

I'm a Canadian farm wife and mother of five children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college graduate who loves living on the farm. Raising children in this environment has been great. I like to write, to do family history, to travel, to garden.

Why I am a Mormon

I've always been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have had a testimony of its truthfulness as far back as I can remember. When I was young, I wanted really, really badly to keep the commandments and get closer to the Savior, and that feeling has never left me. The gospel of Jesus Christ means everything to me.

How I live my faith

I am active in my church, having led or taught children, youth, and women. I like participating in community events and rubbing shoulders with those of many faiths. I've served on our local school council and on the cemetery improvement organization. I've volunteer-tutored ESL students and have been involved in producing local history books. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints encourages us to give service and to reach out to those in need. I live my faith by reaching out to others and trying to be more like Jesus.
