Hi I'm Emily

I grew up in Orem, Utah. I've been called to serve in the Washington Tacoma mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the second to youngest of six brothers. I love to make art, listen to music, and play the violin and the piano. I also love the beauty of nature, the outdoors, and going on hikes. I love experiencing new cultures, hope to travel the world, and learn new languages. I went to BYU for one semester and plan to study at BYU-Idaho for my Art Major. I love to work hard and serve others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Gospel has been such a huge blessing to my life. I have come to know my Savior and my Heavenly Father who love me and knows me perfectly. My testimony in Jesus Christ has helped me through my challenges and helps me have peace. I continue to follow His gospel because I know that His commandments and directions given through our modern-day prophet protect me and will bring happiness that nothing else in this world can give. The Book of Mormon is true and is one of the most wonderful testaments of Christ and guides we have on this earth. When I am striving to live the Gospel, I feel the Spirit testify to me that it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every where I go. If I see someone in need, especially in the home, I try to help them the best I can. I love going to community action centers to serve the needy. In my previous singles ward, I was called to serve as a ward missionary and a member of the ward activities committee. I often volunteer to play the piano for hymns and musical numbers.
