Hi I'm Emma

I'm a Pharmacy Technician. A History major. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love History. Especially Ancient History. I hope to be an Archaeologist one day. I am working on a double major in History and Behavior Science with an emphasis on Anthropology. History is something that has always fascinated me. I was the kid who you could always find in the library reading the newest books on Ancient Civilizations. To be perfectly honest that hasn't changed much. I am curious about the world around me and how and why it works the way it does. I have a great love for dancing. I am continually looking for ways to improve my skills.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, is for me a no brainier. I grew up in the church and the blessings I have received from being a member are so sweet that I continue to stay a member. The gospel provides so many blessings. It gives us comfort in knowing that families are eternal, it provides true peace in a world that is in complete chaos, it gives comfort and strength during the bitterest of trials. These are only a few of the many blessings. These were all made possible because we have a loving Father in Heaven, who wants us to have joy eternally. He did this by sending His son Jesus Christ to be a perfect example of what we should strive to become. Knowing that we would make mistakes and have hard times, our Heavenly Father provided a way for us to over come our weaknesses and mistakes. While Jesus Christ was on the earth He performed the Atonement. This is where Jesus Christ took upon him the sins of the world and paid the price for them. Because he did this we can continue to progress and become more like Him. He has called prophets to speak in His name and to give us guidance. We have been provided multiple testimonies of the love of our Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ in the bible and we have been given the Book of Mormon as a second witness. I have learned this to be true for myself and you can know for yourself if these things are true. I encourage all who are seeking truth to read the Book of Mormon and then pray to our Heavenly Father and ask him if these things are true. If you ask in faith, you will receive and answer and know for yourself.

How I live my faith

I am choosing to serve a full time mission. Where I have the opportunity to teach people about Jesus Christ, to bring them closer to Him. I am choosing to be His full time representative because it brings me so much joy, and I have seen the joy His gospel brings to others.
