Hi I'm Susan

I grew up in Arizona. I love Family History. I am a student at BYU and will be taking a break to serve a mission. I am a Mormon.

About Me

In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing the piano and flute, and spending time in the outdoors, fishing and hiking with family and friends. I am a student at Brigham Young University – Provo. I am majoring in Family History. I have been called to serve a full time mission in the Texas Houston South Mission. I will be speaking Spanish while there for 18 months.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a strong LDS family. I will be forever grateful that my father was introduced to the church in his youth and that he had the courage to challenge the beliefs that he had held for his life thus far. During my youth I gained a strong testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel through faithful church attendance, weekly Family Home Evening, weekly youth activities, scripture study, and prayer. I know that my Heavenly Father knows me and loves me and has a plan for me, just as he does for each and every one of us, His children. I know that Jesus Christ lives and is my Savior and my Redeemer. He is the Only Begotten Son of our Father in Heaven. Because I have read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know of its truthfulness I can testify that it is the word of God and is another testament of Jesus Christ. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the restored church of Jesus Christ upon the earth today.

How I live my faith

I love to serve others and have been able to participate in many different projects to help others in my community. I have served in my Young Women's group and on Youth Councils. I am a Family History Consultant and a Ward Missionary.
