Hi I'm Jean Ann Browning

I was born in Racine, Wis; I have been living in Tucson, Arizona since 9 years of age. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Mother of three children, they are Julia Ann, Jade Ann, and Jake Alan. I am Attending Grand Canyon University full-time online to become a High School English teacher. I have been with my husband for more than 18 years. I love to read, crafts, go for walks, and laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been searching for truth for many years. I know the Holy Bible is the word of God and I have been moved to know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God, and he delivered to us the fullness of the Gospel. There have been many revelations of this truth as I study and pray for guidance. It is amazing that my children have their own inspirations from God to know that the words of God are true in the Holy Bible and the Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am new to the Prudence ward. I am attending sacrament meeting regularly and participating in activities whenever possible. I have not yet received a calling. The speakers and teachers each week are inspiring, you can feel they are being moved by the spirit of God. It is remarkable.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Jean Ann Browning
Sin separated Gods children from him. There needed to be a sinless sacrifice made to atone for the sins of man kind so that through this atonement Gods children can return to Him after this mortal life is through. By accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we can be washed by the blood of Christ and made clean again to be in the presence of God. Christ defeated sin and death as he took on the transgressions of all both living and dead, then was resurrected. Show more Show less
