Hi I'm Braden

I grew up in Riverton, Utah. I love working with quarter horses. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18 years old and a few of my most favorite things to do are ride horses, ride four-wheelers, ride dirt bikes, camp, go on pack trips, boat, swing dance, fish, work on trucks, hangout with my girlfriend, and many other things. My family, my girlfriend, and I all love to go and spend time doing all of these activities together. For me, being with my family and friends is what makes it that much more enjoyable and I love spending any time that I can with them. The two activities that I like the most would be riding horses and boating. I like to wakeboard and even though I am not too good at it yet, I still really enjoy being able to get up and skip across the water.

Why I am a Mormon

I was the first of five boys born into a faithful LDS (Mormon) family which consisted of my Mom and Dad. As I grew up, I learned all sorts of things about our church such as where the gospel came form, who Jesus Christ is, why we are here, what the priesthood is and how it is meant to be used, what the sacrament represents, why we pay tithing, and many other things. The more that I learned about all of these doctrines and principles, the clearer my view of life became. Now that I am 18, I am starting to figure out what is out there and what our world consists of. There are a lot of things that we don't understand and that we will never understand. Life will be very hard and trying at times. We won't always know what to do in all of the situations in our lives but I do know that through the church and through God, we can handling just about anything that is thrown at us. I feel happier and more grateful for things than 90% of the people that I come into contact with. I know that because I have a pretty good idea and outlook on what my purpose is in life. Through living the commandments and trying my best to do the best that I can, I can accomplish whatever I put my mind to.

How I live my faith

Right now, my calling is the first assistant to the Bishop in the Priest quorum. This just means that I am in charge of all the boys who are around my age in my quorum. Presently, I am preparing to go on a mission and I think that this is one of the best ways to live my faith. Every day, I will get to go and educate people about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I will be able to use the spirit to help those who may be wanting to hear the messages that my companion and I will be administering. I love the gospel and I know of the happiness which it brings to me in my life so therefore I am extremely excited to have to opportunity to go and share this happiness with anyone willing to listen.
