Hi I'm Connor

I was born in Star Valley Wyoming, I lived in Brigham City Utah, and I am currently living in Boise Idaho.

About Me

I am preparing to leave for a full time mission to Omaha Nebraska. I am preparing to report to the MTC on January 20th. I grew up with my mom and 3 older brothers. I was interested in Hunting and fishing and since I did not have my dad living nearby and my mom did not know anything about hunting or fishing she sighed me up for a hunting club through the local Police Department when I was 12 years old. This was the best thing for me as I was able to learn a lot about hunting and I met a great mentor that helped me through my lifetime. This along with my Young Men leaders helped me to be the person I am today.

Why I am a Mormon

I was actually born into the church, however, I had to find my own testimony when I started to get older. At about 11 years old I was starting to follow my friends that were not making choices that followed the teachings of the church, I started to become unhappy which led me to being angry. I did not like who I was becoming. I then made the choice to pull away from the friends that I was hanging out with; and made the choice not to have friends if I could not find ones that live the gospel. In doing this I found myself becoming happier and more satisfied with my life. This is because I was living the way that the Lord wanted me live. It has not always been easy but it has always been worth it. I have a testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and of the love that he has shown for all of us in dying for us so that we can repent and be cleansed of our sins. I know that Joseph Smith was, and is a prophet of God. This church has done nothing but good for me and all those I know and love. This is what has helped me to be a faithful Mormon and to be able to share this message of the infinite love that was shown to all of us by God through the sacrifice of His only Begotten Son in the flesh, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

In living my faith, I make sure that I study my scriptures and pray daily. I also make sure that I do not put myself in situations that could take away from the Spirit and make me feel uncomfortable. I am now preparing to serve the Lord on a 2 year mission, but prior to that I would help with the youth group at church. I also look forward to opportunities to do service for those in need for as we are in the service of our fellow men.
