Hi I'm Jewel-Leilani

I was born on Oahu Hawai'i, I am divorced with 1 girl and 2 boys, I'm a self employed horse & livestock groomer, I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Well, first and foremost -other than being Mormon- I am a BIG Whovian! I spend a lot of time painting, gardening, sewing, fishing, camping, watching Dr. Who (clears throat), bowling and playing pool, but most of all that is spent with my kids. I am a Holistic groomer for Horses and livestock, i.e., sheep, goats, pigs and cattle, and well as small pets like dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles, birds, chinchillas and ferrets, as well as a full-time bather/groomer at Shampooch right here in Aurora. It's roots are in my absolute love of God's creatures, which is passed on to my children as well. The thing that makes me most grateful about my work is it helps with my daughter's anxiety and my oldest son's Cerebral Palsy. One is a mental connection and bonding time, and the other is counter pressure to knock-knees. I have 2 dogs; a 9 yr old Basenji and a 6 yr old Shih Tzu, my favorite food is peanut butter on a spoon and Shellfish, my favorite color is the entire spectrum, and my dream life highlight is to care for elephants. I grew up in dance, Kung Fu and riding horses.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Mormon community. Though I have strayed a couple of times in my 34 years, I always find myself running back at full speed. I have never in my life met people or other denominations that are as loyal, devoted, supportive, understanding, giving, loving and true, than The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

My favorite calling in church was an instructor in Nursery and I participate in Compassionate Services when I can.
