Hi I'm Sam Jefferson

I grew up in the Utah Valley area. I trained to be a hazardous martial (Hazmat) responder. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

when I was I high school I was part of the Marching band. I played the saxophone for five years. I started on the Bari and then switched to Alto my sophomore year. During high school I really enjoyed the quality of classes I took. The winter after my high school graduation I was able to have training to become a Hazmat responder. I have grown to enjoy science both applied and theoretical. Because of that joy I went to a semester of college at Utah state university majoring in biology, before coming on a mission to North Carolina

Why I am a Mormon

I had a wise and dear friend say something to me that has changed how live and why I'm a Mormon. He said "don't do anything you don't want to do. Don't do it for your mom or dad. Because when it come do to a hard time your decision is between you and the Lord." And since then I have chosen to live according to what I want, and what I want is to live my life as a testament for what Christ has done for me in this life. This is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Currently I live my faith by following the direction of the prophets and I am on my mission in North Caronlia. Before my mission I lived my faith by live by the standards I learned for owing up in the church. While at my Hazmat training I worked with many people of different backgrounds. Because of my standards I began to stick out, but that was who I was so I wasn't going to change my standards because of those around me. while I was there I met a few people who will be long time friends because I lived my standards and that's what they noticed and they wanted to live by similar standards.
