Hi I'm Jenae

I grew up in Alberta. I've done service in Ecuador, gone to University and am now preparing for a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a large family of ten and I love it! I have spent the last few years of my life volunteering in Ecuador at orphanages, going to University and working. My favourite things to do are horseback riding, singing, dancing, swimming, quading and anything to do with a country life style really. Ive grown up in the city but am a country girl at heart. I also love a great movie with some great friends!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I KNOW without a doubt in my mind that this is the true church. How do I know this? Through the spirit of the Holy Ghost. I was born and raised into the Gospel of Jesus Christ which may make it seem like I was forced into this religion. This is not true. Growing up in the gospel helped me learn through example the importance of the gospel in my parents life. Eventually when I became old enough to truly understand for myself that it was true I began to pray and figure it out for myself. Through the Spirit I have felt so much happiness and joy. It scares me to think of what my life would be without the gospel. I know that it blesses my life so immensely and I am so grateful to have such a wonderful loving Saviour who died for us to make it possible to return back to our loving Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I am active in my church and love to serve those around me in anyway that I can. My calling in the church is the "Family home evening grandma". Pretty much what I do is organize activities and events every Monday night for members and non-members of the church to come and participate in. It is a really fun and amazing way to meet new friends and be involved in wholesome awesome activities! I am also preparing for a mission so I try to spend time with the Sister missionaries and serve in whatever way that I can to help me prepare.
