Hi I'm Justin

I grew up primarily in Washington and Nevada but also a little in Utah. I am interested in Computer Science and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read, play games with my family, and spend time with friends. Outdoor activities are sweet and indoor. My family has always been around lots of computers. I am familiar with them and I plan on making my career around computer programming. Half of my family really doesn't like anything to do with video games and the other half is completely chill with them. Though I understand both arguments. I like them personally and as long as time is balanced and priorities are in place I don't see a problem with them as a family entertainment. They can be used for some good laughs with the family and present creative stories in a unique way. My parents are divorced and both are remarried. It happened when I was right around 16. I am in good position with both my parents still and am happy that they are doing better. Though that did not make the situation any less saddening to me. I personally believe in marriage relationships lasting and when I get married I plan on staying married. Still I am pleased they are happy. I like to unicycle, wake board, bicycle, run, go camping and many more things.

Why I am a Mormon

I am LDS (a Mormon) because of the way I feel as I follow the doctrines I am taught and read in the scriptures. I read the Book of Mormon, which is another testament of Jesus Christ, daily. The principles it teaches line up perfectly with the Bible and they even help me understand the Bible with a lot more clarity. Mainly I am a Mormon because the love I feel from my Savior as I learn all that I can from the Book of Mormon. I know the church is true without a doubt in my mind for many reasons. Most important of these reasons is the Spirit or Holy Ghost. As I choose to live the teachings of Christ I feel peace in my life and love for those around me. Which I believe to be a gift from the Spirit. Another reason is just because how simple the teachings are. The teaching to live and become like Christ, the ability we are given to be with our families forever I know to be true. Eternal Marriage is a reality. I know these things through much prayer and fasting. Through service and a sincere desire to know. I know that everyone can know even as I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior. That Joseph Smith was a prophet who translated the Book of Mormon. That we have living Prophets and Apostles in our days just as in New Testament times through a direct line of authority from God. I know that through prayer and study of the scriptures along with a sincere desire to know that the Holy Ghost will testify of these truths. That every individual may know for him or herself. That Jesus Christ lives and is a resurrected being even today. That we also will be given resurrected and perfect bodies one day. So what I ask most dearly of all is that they pray to know the truth and find the truth. That they be willing to listen and feel if the words taught are true. That they study out the words in their hearts as they read them. Because I know if anyone does, they will be given a confirmation of these truths through the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday for three hours where everyone gets together to learn and be reminded that Christ is our Lord and Savior. That through Him we can be happy even in the hardest of times. That we need to become more like Him. I have standards I base off of scriptures and the teachings of Christ. I do my best to treat everyone with love and care. I go out of my way to help people when they are need and I pray for the people around me. I like to go to either the Logan Temple or Draper Temple every week. In the temple I get to do work in place of those that have passed on such as baptism. In which we are taught they are given the opportunity to either accept or reject the work done for them. I do my best to focus on the positive so I can help lift those around me when times are difficult for them. I do what I can so they feel like I will always be there for them when I am able. Overall I love my Savior Jesus Christ and my life goal is to become more and more like Him everyday.
