Hi I'm Jack

I grew up in Afton. I really enjoy psychology. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to talk to others especially if it will help them out. I was going to college before but I have decided to go on a mission. I love service and helping others. When I see people smiling and happy I know that I've done something wonderful.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the gospel but that is not why I'm Mormon. I became a Mormon during my years in high school. I noticed how other people that were Mormon seemed to find happiness in small things and seemed more positive towards life. At the time I was wanting to be more positive in my life because I always felt like I was putting people down(through sarcasm, negative statements, and so on). I decided to read the scriptures and I noticed how uplifting it was to me. How there was hope in its messages. Messages like, "God loves you." and, "Repentance for your sins." These messages gave me hope and after reading the Book of Mormon for about a month and going to church each week I truly decided in my heart that I was going to be a Mormon. I know that this church is true because it brings such happiness to my life. And I've seen my parents change into better people because of the church and its teachings. I have watched members of the church that really try to follow these teachings become happier in their life. I know that this church is true.

How I live my faith

I participate in my community by helping out with service. I bring food to religious gatherings, help people with their lawns, cut wood for people that need it, talk to people that need someone to talk to. I just try to help out where I can.
