Hi I'm Michael

I'm born and raised Canadian in southern Alberta. I'm a missionary serving in Minneapolis Minnesota, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a science student, in a Bachelor program for Cellular and Molecular biology. I want to become a dentist and possibly an orthodontist. I like helping people and meeting new people. I like working in a lab. I enjoy watching hockey and I love to skate and play recreational hockey, even though I'm not very good! I enjoy learning about space and the cosmos, my dream is to go somewhere where I can clearly see the milky way galaxy.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and raised in the Gospel, and I'm very grateful for that. I've always known that this is the Lord Jesus Christ's church. As I've grown up, I've seen that when we put our trust in the Lord, He will help us to accomplish anything, no matter how daunting. He will guide our lives so that we can be the happiest we can be. His gospel changes lives, and I've seen it happen. It brings me joy and I can't imagine living without this knowledge. There have been times in my life when I've been closer to the world and further from the gospel, and from these times I've come to learn that I have the most joy, understanding, peace and success when I am focused on the Savior and his gospel, and serving others.

How I live my faith

I've been a scout leader for the church cub scout group, I've helped teach kids in church, and I hometeach a few families. I've also been called to serve a mission for my church, where I will go and find people to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ to.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

We proselyte because we know how much God loves all His children, and He wants them all to return to live with Him after this life. Everyone deserves to know that they have a divine heritage and how to find peace and understanding in this life and eternal joy in the next life. Show more Show less
