Hi I'm Nephi

I am a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I am going to California, Arcadia;Spanish and I am a Mormon

About Me

I am very grateful for the opportunity to serve a mission. It will be the hardest thing that I have ever done but I know that it will be the best experience I have ever had, maybe for the rest of my life. The MTC is an amazing place. I have a lot of time to study, learn, and practice in a safe environment. I have the opportunity to teach investigators in the MTC, I am very thankful for this, I have found that the studying that I do for myself is nowhere near as effective as the studying I do for an investigator. As I think of my investigators and pray and try to discern what their needs are I am much more successful.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in Christ and I believe in His gospel. I am thankful that I have been a member of this church my whole life. I know that it has blessed my life. I am thankful for the many wonderful members that I have met. Many of them have very strong testimonies and I draw strength from them. I am thankful for my friends, I am thankful that I choose to have good friends who uplift me. I am thankful for my loving family, I am thankful for my parents who raised me with love and taught me right from wrong.

How I live my faith

I have really enjoyed my childhood. I have had many opportunities to serve others. I am thankful for my father who helped me build a deep love and respect for service. I am thankful that I get the chance to serve a mission and help others to come unto Christ. In the first few weeks of the MTC I have had many opportunities to serve others. I have been studying The Gospel in Spanish, it is difficult to learn a new language but I am very excited to teach others what I love and know to be true. As a missionary I will be spending my days preaching the Gospel. I am really excited to get to the point where I am confident that I can speak Spanish fluently.
