Hi I'm Eric

I grew up in Utah. I graduated high school at sixteen. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like lacrosse, chess, and learning everything. I help with a program that teaches hundreds of 8-12 year old boys about virtues and coming closer to God, with occasional sword-fighting.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was younger I relied on the testimonies of others, but wanting to know for myself I have knelt and prayed many times to ask sincerely if this was all true. The first time I did so I felt a quiet reassurance that it was, and though it was not what I was expecting, it was an answer. I have repeated this process many times, wanting reassurance. Each time I have felt the same feeling of assurance. As I have drawn closer to the Spirit and to the Lord, I have felt those feelings stronger and more and more powerfully, to the point where I know that this is true and I cannot deny it. I have felt those feelings many times and each time I do I know that this is true. I testify that this is the true church of God, and that through His plan we can return and live with Him. I testify that Joseph Smith was a true prophet, and that Christ stands at the head of this church. I testify also that Thomas S Monson is a true prophet on the earth today. I testify of this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I attend church regularly. I have been called to serve as a missionary for Jesus Christ for 2 years in a foreign country. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ, the restoration of his church here upon the earth and his atoning sacrifice for us.
