Hi I'm Shelby Gold

I am from California but attend BYU-I to study animal science. I love the beach and anything to do with animals. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at BYU-I where I am studying animals science with an emphasis in animal health. I hope to graduate and then move on to vet-tech school. I would love to eventually work with marine mammals. My dream to one day travel and see the world, especially to Thailand and volunteer at the elephant camps. I also come from a family that are a fan of sports. We love to keep up with football and baseball. I personally follow the English Premier League for soccer and Women's Softball! With that being said all of the siblings in our family grew up playing sports. We are also a beach family; can't beat a day relaxing on the sand.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that we have a Heavenly Father who loves us and has a plan for us. This plan answer where I came from, why I am on this Earth, and where I will go. I also believe that in this plan we all have a purpose. It is through following our Heavenly Father that we can discover and know the truth.

How I live my faith

In the past I have taken on responsibilities of organizing camps or activities for the youth of the church. I also take part in a wonderful program to visit and take care of any needs of the women in the church to build our bonds. I more recently decided to go on a mission where I will serve others for 18 months in Provo, Utah.
