Hi I'm Isabella

I'm a full time missionary in California. I'm from Utah. I'm a violinist. I love soccer, surfing, and the beach. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Ventura, California and I'm so excited to have the opportunity to serve my Lord and Savior. Soccer is my all time favorite sport! I'm the oldest of 5 children, and I'm adopted. I love my family with all my heart! I have played the violin for 15 years and love being able to express my testimony through music. In high school, I had the privilege to participate in the orchestra that plays for the musicals. I was able to play in Les Miserables, The Scarlet Pimpernel, and Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat. I also had the opportunity to serve as a Junior and Senior class vice president. Before I started my mission, I studied at Brigham Young University - Idaho (BYU-I!) and was studying medicine. It is my dream to become a physical therapist. But in all reality, my ultimate goal in life is to be able to serve as many people as I can, wherever I am! I find so much joy in helping others and learning about others stories.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and I have had struggles, but working with the Lord and asking for His help has strengthened my testimony so much and there is no way I can deny that. But the reason I am serving Him for 18 months of my life, is so I can help others come to the understanding that they are never alone. There is someone there who knows exactly what we are going through, even though He is not physically present. I am serving so I can help others come to the knowledge that they can be with their family for all eternity. I have been blessed with this gift, even though I was not born into the church. I was able to get sealed to my family in the Temple. I am so grateful that I have this gospel in my life. I am amazed and blessed by all the strong examples of faithful members in my life. And I am ever in debt to my Lord, my Savior, for His everlasting Atonement, which enables me to repent of all my wrongdoings, everyday for my whole life, because I am no where near perfect.

How I live my faith

Living my faith has never been a hard thing for me to do. It just takes will-power and determination to do the right thing and help others the best I can! My parents are huge examples to me of living my faith and I am so lucky to be able to have such wonderful examples in my life. They have helped me to have courage in myself when times get tough and to turn to the Lord. I love being able to attend church every Sunday, and three hours seems like a lot of church, but it flies by and I'm always 'hungry' for more. I love how much attention I can focus on the Savior, especially on Sundays, by being able to partake of the Sacrament and turning everything I do to Him.
