Hi I'm Patience

I'm a missionary serving in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, so that's cool.

About Me

I was raised on my grandfathers ranch for half my life. I love the outdoors, camping, horseback ridding, you name it, I'm in. I am an artist, I draw and I paint but I also consider music as an art. I play guitar and I used to play the violin as a child. I am the second oldest of 6 children. I have one older brother and then three younger brothers and one younger sister. Yes, my name really is Patience, I am named after my great grandmother, my parents didn't just name me that as a funny joke. I love my name, I strive to live up to it all the time so you can stop now before you think of asking the question I know is on your mind. I moved into the city 7 years ago and that is when I was introduced to the LDS church. I became good friends with a lot of the girls in the ward around where I lived but I didn't get baptized until 6 years later. After being baptized I can honestly say I've never been so happy in my life. I know I am in a place where I belong.

Why I am a Mormon

I have never felt the spirit so strongly as I have since being introduced to the LDS church. Right from the beginning I fit in and I felt that this is my place in the world. I have had so many prayers answered and seen so many miracles. I truly believe that this is the true church of The Lord. Joseph smith was a true prophet of God. The gospel that is taught in conferences and at church every Sunday, is true. I feel Jesus' love for me daily and I am surrounded by loving caring people who love The Lord and love me I know that being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints, hasn't always been to most 'Popular' thing in the worlds eyes, but the more I realize the Love the Lord has for me and the path that He lead me down (which has lead to here), the more I am reassured that this is the true church and the stronger my testimony grows, and I remember, What is popular in the world's eyes does not matter in the Lord's.

How I live my faith

I attend Church every Sunday, Study the Scriptures daily, and always seek to learn and grow in the gospel. Always strive to be an instrument in the Lords work and remember the blessings that come from obeying His commandments.
