Hi I'm Tangiteina Vaisa

I was born at 24 weeks. I'm healthy and strong. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born at 24 weeks. Because I was born so early, I've had to try extra hard in everything. School was especially hard, but I made it through. I attended Utah State University for a semester and now I'm preparing to serve a mission in the San Jose California Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born belonging to the church. As I grew older and understood different things and got involved in different activities and different people. I realized I loved being a MORMON. Why am I a Mormon? Because I love it!!

How I live my faith

I serve in the primary and I love it, the primary is a group of children ages 3-12, we teach them about the Savior Jesus Christ; the children remind us of how wonderful Our Savior is. I cannot imagine my life without the gospel. My faith gives me hope, helps me understand what I need to do in this life. Reminds me to live like the Savior.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Tangiteina Vaisa
The Atonement is not only for sin, that we can repent and be saved, it also brings power to overcome our weaknesses. It heals, strengthens and brings joy through the Savior. In 2 Corinthians 12:9 we read, "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." If Jesus Christ did not die for us, we would all live in sin and when we die that's it. But because he died for us we can repent and try to be better, after this life we can live with him again for eternity. Show more Show less
