Hi I'm Chance

I was born and raised in Glendale, Arizona. I'm called to serve in the France Lyon Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated high school last May. I worked as a pool serviceman after high school to save up for my mission. I love to play guitar and learn about and play new music. I love the outdoors and outdoor activities, such as hiking, mountain biking, and camping. I was a member of my high school tennis team for two years. I have a younger brother with whom I'm very close.

Why I am a Mormon

My brother, father, and I are converts (my mother grew up in the church). We were taught by the missionaries and my father was baptized in 2001. My brother and I followed in 2007. Since we started going to church, my testimony of the truthfulness of His church and His gospel began to grow. As I've grown older and studied the scriptures more diligently, I have gained a strong testimony of their goodness. I testify of the truthfulness and power of the scriptures--they are the words of the Lord. They have given me strength, knowledge, and comfort in my life.

How I live my faith

I regularly attend my church meetings, such as sacrament meeting. I have a home teaching companion, who is another member of my ward. I love teaching the families that we visit! I love reading the scriptures and the words of the prophets, and I strive to read them everyday. I also strive to pray to Heavenly Father daily.
