Hi I'm Justine

I'm a missionary in the gorgeous land of Lousiville Kentucky. I left my home and family to spread the happiness of the gospel.

About Me

Hi!:) I am a 19 year old girl serving the Lord in Louisville Kentucky! My passions include: the gospel, dance, service, travelling, adventuring, and people watching! Before my mission I was on a fullride academic, dance, leadership, and service scholarship to pursue dance in college. I absolutely love to dance and am always dancing everywhere! The grocery store, the street, my kitchen, you name it! I have traveled to Haiti to teach dance to orphans, as well as traveled all around my home state to teach young girls positive values through dance. People ask me if it was hard to give up my dance training to go on a mission for 18 months, but it was never even a question for me because I knew it was what I needed to do and that God would bless me for serving! All of our talents come from God after all! If there is one thing I love more than dancing, it is the gospel of Jesus Christ and the happiness and comfort it brings into my life. I've pretty much known I was supposed to serve a mission since I came out of my mother's womb! I remember being asked "who is going to serve a mission?" in my 5 year old church class, and being the first one to raise my hand! I have been waiting my whole life for this beautiful opportunity to serve the people of Kentucky and teach them about Christ, and therefore teach them about the hope, peace, love, comfort, and strength that I have personally witnessed and received through this beautiful gospel 3

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this gospel has been the only consistent thing in my life. I come from a divorced home and have lost many close friends. I have failed more times than I can count and am constantly wondering how God can still love me. But I know that He does. And it is something that we can all know because it is true! No matter who leaves us, betrays us, hurts us, or breaks our heart, God will be there to pick up the pieces and help you build a better You out of them. This gospel has allowed me to live the life that I want to live and be the best person that I can be because I am not tied down to addictions or hopelessness. I know that I am a daughter of God; the daughter of a King. And because I know that, I know that I am stronger than any temptation, situation, addiction, or disorder. The atonement of Jesus Christ has allowed me to turn my life around multiple times. It has helped me to mend broken relationships and forgive those who have hurt me the most. And I know that it can do all of those things, and more, for you too. With God ANYTHING is possible! "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!" There is nothing on this Earth that is more beautiful, powerful, strengthening, comforting, or that can change someone's heart like the Gospel Of Jesus Christ, which is here on this Earth, at this time, in the form of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! I know that this is church that God speaks to directly and the church that holds the same priesthood power that was on the Earth when Christ was here. And that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

The most obvious way I live my faith is by leaving everything behind for 18 months so that others can receive the joy that I have found through having a testimony in the gospel! I left my friends, my family, my passion, my career, my comfort-zone all back in my home state because none of that is as important as sharing what I know to be true! If I can help even one person feel of the love that God has for them, then it will all be worth it! In the future I hope to open my own dance studio that instead of focusing on body image and competition, focuses on service performances and spreading good values. Through this I hope to touch the lives of many people and change the image of dancers to people who can share the gospel through their talents.
