Hi I'm Rachel

I was raised in Utah. I love to be outside and ride our horses. My mom was a convert. I love the gospel and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in Utah, my mom was raised in the east as a Methodist, she took missionary lessons when she was 18 years old. She was baptized a few months later. My dad has always been a member of the church, he grew up in California. I love to sing, and I enjoy dancing, I try my best to eat healthy and exercise, I love the way exercising makes me feel. I love animals and horses and being outside. We own three horses and use them for trail rides and endurance races. I am the youngest child, I have an older brother who is married with four little kids. I have three older sisters who are all unique and amazing. Two of my sisters are married, without children.. (yet) and my oldest sister is not a member of the church, she lives with her girlfriend and we see them often, she is hilarious and the most caring person I know, I really love her. As I have graduated from High school and matured, so has my testimony of the Gospel, I know it is true, and I love it and it brings me so much happiness.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in Utah to Righteous LDS parents. I was baptized when I was eight years old and have been taught the gospel since I was little. I could use the excuse that I am a Mormon because that's "all I've ever known" but, as I have matured and gone through some trials and confusing times when I really thought about why I go to church, and why I do what I do, I have turned to God and I have realized that living the Gospel, and attending church and reading my Book of Mormon each day has brought me so much clarity and happiness and I know that I am doing what God wants me to do, and I know that this Gospel is the Truth.

How I live my faith

I Love the church and the leaders of the church, I know they are called of God and I know that they receive inspiration from God. I have had the calling of teaching primary (ten year olds) in my ward. Teaching them has strengthened my knowledge of the gospel and I feel like I have learned a lot from teaching other people. I try to read my scriptures everyday and read General Conference talks. It makes me feel close to God and it makes me happy and it gives me structure to live by each day. I love having commandments and standards to live by. They bring happiness and structure and blessings, and freedom. People
