Hi I'm Zane

I grew up in Missouri by The Far West temple site and adam ondi ahman. I believe they are true works of the Lord. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Some of the things i like to do is watch baseball, spend time with my extended family, and try new things. I also enjoy art. I sketch and paint some but I love seeing things other people create. I am currently working on a mission in Salt Lake City, Utah. After I plan the attend a college in Utah.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Lords gospel and his church is an inspiration. I was raised a Mormon and taught if I have a question about anything I can pray and find an answer in the Lords gospel. I have found this to be absolutely true. As a result I understand that the organization and ways of the church are the most true, structured, prepared, and charitable church I've ever come across. We help members and nonmembers with things they need and we share the gospel to many. I as a new missionary can say that Mormon missionaries love the Lord and want to teach you and share the gospel to everyone; we hope you are willing to accept it.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith is through service and obedience. As Mormon I have participated in youth committee planning activities for 12-18yr olds. I have also been a president of the 12-18 girls Sunday school class where the class and I took turns teaching. As I was preparing to serve a mission I was a nursery teacher looking after 18month-3yr olds. I helped teach them primary songs and social skills the children need, such as sharing and the importance of others.

What is the purpose of the welfare services of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

Zane
The purpose of the church welfare system is be an example of self reliance and to care for the poor and needy. The members of the church have been taught to be prepared for emergencies. The church grows food and manufactures the necessities for families in need. So in return they ask that as members we help as much as we can. A portion of tithing (which is asked to be 10% of income we make) is donated to fund the welfare system, members also donate their time to work. With the amazing organization and service of the of the church, as members, we can bless the lives of others. Show more Show less
