Hi I'm Sharee

I grew up in the church. I am a friend to all I meet. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my life! I have been blessed with an incredible family and wonderful friends and mentors who have helped me become who I am today. I am happiest spending time with those I love, enjoying the outdoors, or doing something with music. I play the oboe, English horn, trombone and piano and love them all! I love to try new things and meet new people, but mostly I just try to live life to the fullest, and that usually involves serving others. I am about to embark on a mission, but after that I plan to continue my college education studying biology with an emphasis in research. I look forward to becoming a wife and mother and feel so blessed to have the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life so I can achieve much more than I could otherwise. I am so thankful for my life and look forward to many more adventures to come!

Why I am a Mormon

I know that this church holds the complete and true doctrine of Christ. I know because God has confirmed this truth in my heart and mind through the Holy Ghost. I know Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon under the direction of God, and that it is a true and holy book. I know that Thomas S. Monson leads the church today, still directed by God and His son Jesus Christ. I know that Christ suffered for my sins, and that he died, but lived again and lives still. I know that I can live again, because of that great sacrifice of the Only Begotten Son. I know that families can be sealed together forever in the House of the Lord, and that we are to find peace and joy in this life as well as in the next. I know that the only way to find that peace and joy is through Christ and living according to the principles given to us in ancient and modern scripture. I'm so thankful for this knowledge and for this gospel. I would invite all others to come unto Christ and into his fold.

How I live my faith

I used to play the piano in church meetings, hymns set a very meaningful atmosphere that is valued in the church. I also served in an auxiliary over the women in my area, I would help plan meaningful activities for the women, keep track of how each woman was doing and what her needs were, and I occasionally taught the lesson during our meetings on Sunday.
