Hi I'm Sierra

I am an artist. I'm a daughter, a sister, and a friend. I am serving an LDS mission in El Salvador and Belize. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my first semester of college where I am majoring in Family Consumer and Human Development. I'm not sure if that is the major I will end up graduating with. I am still trying to figure it out. But I know that I want to help people. I love spending time with my family and doing things outdoors. I love to paint. I have a newfound love for yoga and tamales are my favorite food. I am leaving very soon on an LDS mission to El Salvador and Belize.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both members of this church, so I was raised LDS. But I think that everyone has to decide at some point in their lives what they believe. I know this church is true because I have lived it and I have studied it and I have felt the blessings. I have felt the love of my Heavenly Father and Savior so strongly. I can't deny that this church is true. I have felt the confirmation that this church's teachings are true, it has resonated in my soul as I have attended church, read the Book of Mormon, and prayed. This church helps me to come unto Christ and live up to my potential.

How I live my faith

I am about to leave all that is familiar and comfortable to be a missionary for my church in EL Salvador and Belize. I am going to spend 6 weeks in Guatemala learning Spanish and how to be a missionary and then I will go out and teach the people of El Salvador and Belize about their loving Heavenly Father and His plan for them. It will be a really hard 18 months, but really amazing as well. I am so excited to go and teach and learn and grow and love.
