Hi I'm Alisha

I'm a teacher. I love to travel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 5th grade teacher in Utah. I love to read, learn new things, watch movies, and go hiking. I also love to travel and have been a volunteer teacher in 4 different countries.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon brings true happiness into my life. My faith helps me to feel loved by our Heavenly Father, comforted in knowing that there is life after death, and inspired to be kind and serve others. Although I was born and raised into the Mormon religion, as an adult I choose to still be an active member of this wonderful church. I am grateful for the peace, contentment, knowledge, encouragement, and joy that this church has brought into my life. There is a special feeling when discussing and learning about our Savior Jesus Christ and the truths within the scriptures. I would not be who I am today without the blessings and experiences that I've had while being an active member of this church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by incorporating it into my daily life. In this church we are taught to love and serve one another. I try to always remember that counsel when I am teaching my 5th graders, or meeting new people. Although I am not perfect at it, I do try to look for ways that I can help other people. I serve in my church by encouraging others and doing various forms of work for those who might not be physically able to do so. The times when I have focused on the needs of others has truly made a difference in my life.
