Hi I'm Emily

I am a full time missionary. I love sports, art, silly dance moves, and this gospel. I'm a mormon.

About Me

Hi! I'm Emily. I am a current full time missionary for The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I left my family for 18 months in order to create a new one here in Spain. I love meeting new people, and sharing with them the things that I love. I enjoy painting and making music, being athletic, and being silly. My family is what means most to me and I love them with all my heart.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my entire life. At first I went because my parents took me, but as I grew I realized that the gospel blessed my life immensely. Once I made the decision for myself that I wanted to be a involved, pro-active and excited member of the church and started to really live its teachings I saw my happiness level increase rapidly. It took a lot of work, but through prayer I gained an amazing relationship with my Father in heaven which has helped me realize that he is looking out for me. I know that he knows and wants what is best for me and when I let him in and let him guide my life I am blessed. Along with the relationship that I have made with my Heavenly Father I also have gotten close to my Savior Jesus Christ. The Atonement is real and I have felt its influence in my life. I know that Jesus did not just suffer for my sins, but also my pains, anguish, and long-sufferings. He knows how I feel in my darkest of days and brightest moments. Having him as my brother, Savior, and friend has helped me through hard times and I am so thankful for the comfort and love that he provides to me. I am so grateful for this gospel and the sense of purpose, love, hope, and comfort that I have because of it.

How I live my faith

As a missionary I am fully immersed in my faith. My whole purpose is to serve others and to help them feel the joy that I do because of my faith. I decided to leave everything that I am used to, comfortable with, know and love for 18 months because I know that others can benefit from the message that I am sharing. I know that the Lord loves everyone and wants to help them only if you give him a chance. I am so grateful that I get to be that mediator and guide to help others come unto Christ. He is my rock, my Savior, and my friend. I know that others can find the same joy, comfort, and purpose that I do because I know, love, and live this gospel.
