Hi I'm Tara

I'm just an average everyday girl living in a small town. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving as a missionary in the Virginia Chesapeake Mission, and I love it! But some of my hobbies include being in the outdoors. Hiking, camping, bird watching you name it. I'm also an avid reader. Get me set up with a good book and I'll read for hours. I also have a strong connection to music, and I love to perform to help people feel the joy of music that I do. But my true passion lies with animals. I am a certified veterinarian assistant, and upon returning from my mission in Virginia, I hope to pursue a career in the animal field.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the hope the gospel brings to my life. The belief that there is a God in heaven who loves, and knows each one of us by name fills me with such joy. Knowing that Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, died for me, for you, and each of us personally is the most beautiful message. There have been times in my life where I wasn't living the gospel standards as well as I should have. I felt sad a lot, and I just plain and ordinary. But when I would repent and get back on track, I felt the joy come back to my life. And I remembered that I am a child of God, and am not any ordinary human. And neither are you. You have divine potential as a child of the almighty God. And he loves you. I know this without a doubt.

How I live my faith

I live in a area where most people around me are Mormon. But currently I am serving as a full-time missionary for the church in the Virginia Chesapeake Mission. This has brought a lot of happiness into my life. I love to serve those around me, and I love spreading the gospel news! Helping people change their lives for the better has really blessed me.
