Hi I'm Rachael

I'm a born and raised Utahn. I love to laugh, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hallo! I am currently serving a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Norway, Oslo mission. My grandma, my Mormor, joined the church in Danmark when she was eighteen and over time moved to Utah and met my grandpa there. I am very thankful for the faith of all of the family before me so that I could grow up in this beautiful church, and now have the opportunity to share the love of Christ in an area so close to my heart. I love to play sports, and I have especially love soccer since I was four years old. You can get me to be competitive in anything, which my family has definitely learned throughout the years. I have the best parents ever, the funniest and cutest three brothers, and a little gift of a sister. I love my family and my extended family with all my heart. I also have the very best friends in the whole world, so shout out to them being my soul sisters. I have a desperate love for anything Harry Potter, and could listen to every Coldplay album on repeat every day all day. Life is definitely a gift, and I look so forward to the rest of mine, whatever may come.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that I have a father in Heaven who created me and everything around me. I know that there is a grand design to everything; I can see it from the eyes of my peers to the beautiful mountains that surround me. I know that the Savior, Jesus Christ, lived and suffered and died for me and for all of us. I can feel his redeeming power surround me when I seek repentance and enable a love inside me that is better than anything I have ever felt. I know that families are eternal, and that the more that you are looking for is in this church. I know that God restored the Church of Jesus Christ through the Prophet Joseph Smith, and I love and sustain our modern Prophets, Seers, and Revelators with all my heart.

How I live my faith

When I was a junior in High School, I had an experience that testified to me that I needed to serve a mission. So here I am! I think the best way to live your faith is to just spread the love. I have learned for myself to trust in my Savior, Jesus Christ, who is my best friend. I know that every trial can be swallowed up in the love of Christ. I try my best to better my relationship with my Heavenly Father every day by reading my scriptures, praying whenever I need to talk, keeping the commandments, and serving in my callings. I'm so thankful for the love in my life I get from my family in heaven, and how it blesses my wonderful family and friends.
