Hi I'm Annie Hayward

I come from a supportive family of six. I love hiking, running, learning, skiing and painting. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As stated in my introduction, I'm the middle child of an amazing family and I love anything outside. Growing up in Utah I've been blessed to be surrounded by beautiful mountains and scenery and I've come to appreciate the great outdoors. I love music and I've played the piano for eleven years - I also love going to concerts, anything from Sam Smith to LANY. I'm currently a freshman at Brigham Young University and hoping to find a career that steers clear of a stuffy office and more along the lines of traveling to diverse places studying cultures or human interactions.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born to two Mormon parents and grew up in the church, I still had to make the decision for myself if I would remain a faithful member or not. I choose to remain rooted in this gospel because of the beautiful idea that we are all God's children, He loves us and He is constantly looking out for us. I could not live without the direction this gospel brings me along with the positive perspective that everything happens for a reason and that there's meaningful purpose behind my trials.

How I live my faith

Currently I'm serving in my ward as the music head coordinator where I organize musical numbers for the month and also serve as a visiting teacher to two girls in my dorm. I try to share my faith by being kind to others, quietly going out of my way to serve and striving to be a force for good in the world. I also live my faith by deciding to serve a year and a half mission in Utica, New York where I will teach my gospel to those who will listen.
