Hi I'm Connor

I grew up on the west coast of the United States. I was called as a missionary to the Birmingham, Alabama mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the sixth child in a family of nine children. Two are from my Mom's first marriage, two from my Dad's, and five betwixt them. My father is a convert to the Church and my mother born in the Church, but was inactive until around the time Dad was baptized. I was raised in the Church. I'm not really one to enjoy social media to much. I like reading, music (especially from the 70's), collect-able card games and cooking.

Why I am a Mormon

I was taught and encouraged to gain a knowledge of things for myself, so when I had learned somewhat concerning the Gospel, I went to the source and asked God if what I had been taught was true. I received a witness and a testimony from the Holy Ghost that God, the Eternal Father, was real, that Jesus Christ was his Begotten Son, and that Joseph Smith Jr. was a Prophet of God. That the Book of Mormon, which is a witness of Christ, was true, and that we are blessed with a living Prophet on the Earth, Thomas S Monson. I received further testimony that the Atonement of Christ has real power, and that with it, and by obeying the commandments of God we will be able to live again with our families and with our Heavenly Father

How I live my faith

I am a full time proselyting missionary serving in the Birmingham, Alabama mission, meaning I devote starting October 28, 2015, two years to serving God and my fellow man. In the past I have been a Primary Teacher, and I do my best to practice what I teach. I try to follow the example and teachings of Jesus Christ, to obey the commandments of God and to love and help my fellow man.
