Hi I'm Lynette Houser

"I grew up in Utah. I came from an active LDS family and I am proud to be a Mormon."

About Me

I am married to a wonderful man and we have 7 children. We love being grandparents and great grandparents. We love spending time with our family whenever possible. I love to piece quilts and read. I enjoy camping and riding 4 wheelers and just being in the mountains

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was 8 yrs old. I have always known the gospel was true. It means so much to me to know of a loving Heavenly Father and to know that our family can be together forever through the blessings of the Temple. Everything I do is with that goal in mind of having my family with me in the next life. I know that this is the only true church upon the earth and so grateful for that knowledge. My greatest wish is that my children and grandchildren will also have that testimony for themselves. The knowledge of our Savior Jesus Christ and his atoning sacrifice helps me to keep going even if times get rough. I know that he will carry my burdens and make them light if I live worthy of that blessing. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ brings true happiness into my life and of those that choose to follow Him.

How I live my faith

I love serving in our ward. We have wonderful, friendly people there. I play the piano for the ward choir and also enjoy singing in the choir. I have really loved serving the women in our ward and also the youth.

What is the Relief Society?

Lynette Houser
Relief Society is the women's organization of the lds church. We meet each Sunday and have a prepared lesson. We also meet occasionally for activities or service projects. The relief society helps the women in the church to discuss things and be friends. This organization was inspired by the prophet Joseph Smith and is a wonderful part of the lds church Show more Show less
