Hi I'm Oz

I'm a husband, grandpa, dad, fisherman, golfer, and a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy golfing although I am not good at it. I like to fish and like to catch them whether I am fishing for halibut or trout or bass or bluegill. I enjoy boating and camping with family. I like to travel and see new places and scenery. I haven't been to all the states but have enjoyed everyone that I have been in.

Why I am a Mormon

I was not always a person who was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In fact I was far from it. My parents were but I had made choices that pulled me away. The life I was living was overwhelming me I had a wife and two kids and little money. I found myself on my knees seeking for guidance. The answer came to follow the guidance of the Church. This started blessing my life more the more I lived the teachings. The Church has been a lifesaver. It has been the roadmap for a happy and successful life.

How I live my faith

I am currently working on beginning to serve a mission for the church. I have attended church services regularly when my work permitted and served as a Cub Scout leader, Boy Scout leader, Sunday school teacher, home teacher, Sunday school president, a councilor in my high priest group. These were all callings that have helped me, as well as serving others, to grow and develop. Many of these callings have humbled me and cause me to seek the Lord for inspiration on how to proceed to bless the lives of those whom I have been entrusted to minister to. Through prayer and scriptures and with the Holy Spirit as a guide inspiration will come.
