Hi I'm Krystal

I have grown up in several states but primarily in Arizona. I have ten siblings. I am a college student. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Colorado and moved to Maine, Florida, and then to Arizona throughout my childhood. I am 18 and graduated in May 2015. My parents divorced when I was in the fifth grade. I have a wonderful stepdad and a total of 10 siblings whom I love dearly. I am fourth in the line of age. I love music with a passion and I sing most of the time. I enjoy playing sports with friends but have only ever done track & field competitively. I pole vaulted my junior year. One of the most interesting things I was able to do in high school was participate in a temple celebration. I have been called to serve a mission in Argentina and will report shortly. Meanwhile I am a college student and taking a 25 credit course load because I love school. My major is in criminology and we'll see where that takes me in life. My absolute favorite thing to do is work on family history. Finding names and doing their work in the temple is so profound and has a special power that comes with doing it. I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church and grew up learning gospel principles. When I was in the fifth grade, my parents divorced and I had a difficult time enjoying going to church. I didn't know what to think anymore because I was in the church because of my parents. I decided to pray about it with real intent and wanted to know if what I had always been taught was true despite my parents' divorce. I received my answer with clarity and peace and it was the first time in a long time I had been so truly happy. Since that moment I have tried and am still trying to be the very best person I can be. I know my Heavenly Father loves me and wants me to return and be in His presence again and I am excited for what is in store for me in this life and in the life to come. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I do my best to live my faith with real intent and obedience. I attend church each week and strive daily to live what I am taught. I refrain from participating in activities that would drive the Spirit of God away. I am a ward missionary currently and try to reach out to members of the church who have been going through a difficult time. I will be serving a mission in Argentina in the months to come and will dedicate 18 months to helping others come unto Christ.
