Hi I'm Sulu Maria Tyrell.

I grew up in Samoa, I am currently serving a mission in Utah Salt Lake City Temple Square Mission and I am a Mormon.

About Me

hello!! I am a islander beautiful girl:) I grew up in Samoa most of my life. I love meeting new people and becoming great friends with them.A lot of my friends have served or are serving missions. I love my family and those whom I serve. I love my Mission President and his wife. I love to serving others as well. I love hanging out with my friends and family and just having a great time! I've been a Mormon all my life. I love my mission so far and I know I will continue to love it from here on out. Being on a mission is great and its a great learning experience!

Why I am a Mormon

In my heart and mind, i just feel like this is the true church and that being a Mormon is awesome. At the moment, From February 10,2015 to August 31,2016 i am serving a mission in the Utah Salt Lake City Temple Square mission. I love doing the work and we all work our hardest out here. Even though iv'e been made fun of for being a Mormon, i still wont give up my beliefs just because someone else thinks i'm an idiot. Being a Mormon is great and i encourage you to test it out yourself. Also i know without a doubt that this church is true and that Joseph Smith was indeed a prophet of God!

How I live my faith

I'm on a mission and i follow the commandments given by the Lord. I work my hardest in any way i can and love the people i serve. I believe we can all live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ again. I teach them the Gospel of Jesus Christ and help them come back unto Christ. I love the gospel and increase my faith daily. We all can grow our faith daily but faith takes action as well. I am working everyday to increase my faith and to live it.

Who are the Mormons?

Sulu Maria Tyrell.
Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints unequivocally affirm themselves to be Christians. They worship God the Eternal Father in the name of Jesus Christ. When asked what the Latter-day Saints believe, Joseph Smith put Christ at the center: “The fundamental principles of our religion is the testimony of the apostles and prophets concerning Jesus Christ, ‘that he died, was buried, and rose again the third day, and ascended up into heaven;’ and all other things are only appendages to these, which pertain to our religion.”1 The modern-day Quorum of the Twelve Apostles reaffirmed that testimony when they proclaimed, “Jesus is the Living Christ, the immortal Son of God. … His way is the path that leads to happiness in this life and eternal life in the world to come.”2 In recent decades, however, some have claimed that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is not a Christian church. The most oft-used reasons are the following. Show more Show less

What is the Law of Chastity?

Sulu Maria Tyrell.
I really love this principle is call the law of chastity but its really helps me for now and my future life :) so In the world today, Satan has led many people to believe that sexual intimacy outside of marriage is acceptable. But in God's sight, it is a serious sin. It is an abuse of the power He has given us to create life. The prophet Alma taught that sexual sins are more serious than any other sins except murder and denying the Holy Ghost (see Alma 39:3-5). Sometimes people try to convince themselves that sexual relations outside of marriage are acceptable if the participants love one another. This is not true. Breaking the law of chastity and encouraging someone else to do so is not an expression of love. People who love each other will never endanger one another's happiness and safety in exchange for temporary personal pleasure. Show more Show less
