Hi I'm Sariah

I've moved many times in my life and have gained so amazing experiences. I enjoy running and reading. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have many hobbies and interests but some of my favorite things to do are hiking, camping, running, playing piano and watching movies with family or friends. For the last year I've been working as a sale representative for a cell phone company, and have been saving money to serve a mission. I've very much enjoyed working with and helping people. I've lived all over the place from Idaho to Indiana, and it has been a blessing to meet so many different people. I fall 4th oldest out of eight siblings, and I also have two nephews who I adore and love to spend time with.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon simply because it brings light into to the darkness as Christ's and Gods love is never ending. I was raised mormon, and have always believed it was true but I've gone through times in my life where my heart just wasn't really in it. As my family and I continued to go through trial after trial and it never seemed to end, I questioned the purpose of this church and what was the point of it all? I then came across a scripture that said He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life. This is why I am mormon, because weather we are mormon or not, there is darkness in the world, but with this gospel our burdens are able to be lifted as we turn to our loving Father in Heaven through prayer. This gospel and the doctrines it has, brings light. This light has helped me through trials, and even at my darkest hour when I feel all is lost, I can always kneel down and pray to feel God and Christ's love. I am Mormon because even if I do fall away from the path of light into darkness, I can make it back through repentance and as I continue to stay on the path Christ will give me strength to carry on. I have a true testimony this gospel is true and that we are all children of God. I have a true testimony in latter day prophets, that they give us counsel from God and are here to help guide us. I know the book of mormon and the bible are true, and are both the word of God. I know there is life after death and as we do our best on this earth we will be rewarded. I know Christ died on the cross so our sins could be forgiven. And I know through God all things are possible. In name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

Having lived in so many different places in the United States, I've had experiences where everyone practiced my faith to where no one even knew what my religion was. No matter where I lived I tried to live my faith the same, and to be an example to others by following church standards and serving others. I did this by participating in community volunteering or community bible study where I was able to meet new people not of my faith. Also within my church I have served many different callings, but I am currently teaching nursery where I am able to teach little kids about Gods love for them and for everyone.
