Hi I'm Savannah Vavla

Im a Colorado Native, I love trying new things and going new places, I am going on a mission to New Zealand, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love staying active, and playing sports. I'm the oldest of 6 siblings and I am always trying to be a good example to them, sometimes that works sometimes is doesn't, it depends on the day. I've lived in Mead Colorado most of my life, and I've learned to love the small town feel, but I would love to travel around and see new things! I love to learn, I don't think I can ever soak up enough, I love taking everything in. Reading is my thing, I could sit down with a good book and read for hours!

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because it makes me happy. There is a joy that comes from living the gospel that you cant find anywhere else. You can try and try but any other way is only going to be a temporal happiness. I am a Mormon because I can live with my family for eternity and that means a lot to me. I also love that I can be sealed to someone for time and all eternity in the temple, that been my dream since I was a little girl. I love also how there is endless knowledge. Again I love to learn so its so neat to me that I could pick up the Book of Mormon and learn one thing and then pick it up read the same verse and learn something completely different, and that's just the Book of Mormon! We also have prophets and apostles that we can learn from. The knowledge we can gain is endless.

How I live my faith

I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am serving in the New Zealand Hamilton mission, and I will be living my faith everyday, teaching people, loving people and sharing with them what I hold dear. I live my faith by getting down on my knees and praying to my Heavenly Father, and gain a relationship with him, gaining a relationship with my Savior because that is what is most important.
