Hi I'm Jessica

I grew up in Utah. I attend Brigham Young University in Provo. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am in college studying Elementary Education. I love doing cross-country and soccer. In my free time I love to read, watch movies, and hang out with my friends. At college I am part of the country-swing, Salsa, and Cancer-awareness clubs. I love getting involved in my community!

Why I am a Mormon

I myself was taught by missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ at a young age. I felt the Spirit so strongly while the missionaries were teaching that I knew it was true. After praying about the Book of Mormon myself, I received my answer that it was true. This gospel has given me such purpose and direction in this life. In a world where there we are bombarded almost all the time with things of this world, the Gospel of Jesus Christ provides such peace and comfort. I love this Gospel because it is made up of plain and simple truths that children can understand- but yet so complex that it takes a lifetime to put even a dent into learning the full gospel. I love that we are taught in this gospel line upon line, and precept upon precept. We are not given all of these instructions all at once! We learn at our own pace! I love that even though I belong to a huge church that I can still learn and grow at my own pace, rather than be forced to keep up with someone else's learning pace!

How I live my faith

I teach the eight and nine year old children in church. I also participate in my ward choir!
