Hi I'm Katelin

I'm a Mormon, I know it, I live it, and I love it!

About Me

I currently am attending college!! It has been a great experience and I have met so many wonderful friends! I am super excited to serve a mission and can't wait to know who and where I will be serving =] I grew up on a farm and was never really proactive in school cause there was always work to be done on the farm... I worked hard and work alongside the best father in the world. I learned a lot from my dad and my grandpa while working on the farm. I also developed so many talents and attributes from my mother as we worked in the home too. I have been so blessed in my life and can't wait to give my time to the Lord!

Why I am a Mormon

I wouldn't be who I am today with out the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As a member of His church I have been blessed beyond compare. I am blessed to know of the truth and to be testified to concerning the truthfulness of it by the Holy Spirit. I know it it true and I can not deny it. I have held my values and been given the chance to make commitments with my Heavenly Father, because of the correct authority given to us. I have been able to have the fullness of His gospel. My Savior, Jesus Christ, preformed the Atonement and Resurrection for me so that I can be able to live with Him and my Father in Heaven again. I am able to kneel in prayer, a gift from God, to communicate with Him and build a relationship with Him. I have been given this mortal body and the opportunity to live in this world with the gift of agency. I have been given trials and have many more that lay ahead to grow and learn and to overcome. All the while my Father in Heaven and my elder brother, Jesus Christ, are there with arms wide open to care, comfort, and bless me. Along with Them, I have my family and many of the members in the church that help me daily with the struggles in this world. I also have been blessed with a living prophet of God, that leads and guides this church under the direction from our Heavenly Father. I know this to be true! As I strive to come closer to Christ, I can only hope that others can come unto Christ I join His church and follow Him and His example.

How I live my faith

Here in a college ward, I receive the opportunity to serve the women in our ward. I invite and discuss with others about commitments and blessings. Also I give small acts of service to those I come in contact with. I try to see what I can do to help them in anyway I can. Although most of them go unnoticed, the feeling I receive from these experiences are more than I could ask for. I strive daily to come closer to my Father in Heaven and my Savior Jesus Christ by keeping His commandments and feasting upon His words. I'm not perfect, so I repent of my sins and wrong doings and try once again to do better. 'A Saint is a Sinner who keeps on trying.'
