Hi I'm Chelsea

I am the oldest out of five. I have moved 8 times. I play the flute and piano. I love the outdoors and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have four younger siblings. I have lived in California, Germany, Canada, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and now I am attending school at BYU in Rexburg Idaho. I was the only member in my school until my Junior year of High School until my sister and one other young women became a freshman. I played flute in my schools marching band for all four years of high school. I spent much of my time outside hiking, at the beach, and many other things. I am currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because everything about this faith makes me feel happy, safe, and important. The emphasis on the family feels so right. The Church also emphasizes that we are all children of God. Through studying the Book of Mormon and the Bible, I have been able to identify the Doctrine of Christ within each page. Faith. Repentance. Baptism. Receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost. And enduring to the end. All done under the priesthood authority of God. Through much prayer and experimenting upon my faith, I haven been able to receive my own witness that Jesus is the Christ, Joseph Smith is a prophet of God, and that the Book of Mormon teaches of Christ. As Joseph Smith said "I knew it and I could not deny it."

How I live my faith

I live my faith by never being ashamed. I will openly discuss my beliefs with whoever asks or whoever seems ready to listen. I also constantly remind myself that Gods grace is always there no matter what happens. Knowing that Christ's atonement makes it possible for all of Gods children to come back from anything. I take this knowledge every where I go. I strive to devote all I have to serving my Savior and Gods children.
