Hi I'm Erin

I'm adopted into a wonderful family. I'm excited to teach the people of Sapporo, Japan. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Hello, I'm Erin Elise Angerhofer. I'm from a small town in Utah. I love to go ride my horse out on the farm and have my dog with me all the time. I love spending time with my friends and family. I really enjoy having all my family and friends support me on my mission. I'm setting aside all my worldly things and doing something for my Lord, His Son, Jesus Christ. I have been Called to Serve in the Sapporo, Japan mission. I'm excited to learn a language for 9 weeks in the MTC. I'll be able to teach the people of Sapporo and their spirits will come closer to Christ. I'm excited for the really awesome opportunity to do this for the Lord. I know that through "planting the seed"(Alma 32:28) that we are a starter to help them! They will have a feeling of know what our gospel is about! Im excited to help others!

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon, about when I was in tenth grade in high school I was having some really hard struggles. There were some times where I didn't want to go to church cause it was so bad and embarrassing. But later on down the road, the bishop I had at the time noticed that I didn't look the same, meaning my personality wasn't the same. Being cheerful was always there. When I got to the bishops office I just cried and confessed everything. I felt so much better after I told him. Heavenly Father knew that too. I prayed to Heavenly Father that Sunday night and I prayed in forgiveness. He always forgives you no matter what the sircumstance is. He knows that he loves you and he will never turn away from any of you. And now here I am today getting ready to go on a mission. He has blessings in store for everybody. There's a scripture I'm using for my mission. Its Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." I would like to say these things in the name of thy son Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by praying to Heavenly Father. Every time i pray to him I feel my faith getting stronger. I know that through going on a mission will change how you live and act upon your faith.

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is actively involved in te Hong the restored gosple of Jesus Christ. Currently about 84,000 volunteer missionaries throughout the world share the joy they have found in the gosple. Most of them are young, single people serving full time for 18 to 24 months at their own exspense. These missionaries share a message about Jesus Christ and His Atonement for all people. They teach about our Heavenly Father's great plan of salvation, which allows all people the opportunity to return to Him. Show more Show less
