Hi I'm Taylor

I am a California girl and I love life. I am a full-time student at BYU-I. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love and enjoy life and I like to do everything. I am a very happy and outgoing person. I am a full-time student, I'm a psychology major, and I am really enjoying college.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. My parents are very faithful and righteous members of the church, so my family and I were at church every Sunday, always fulfilling what were told and/or asked to do. They have been the perfect example of righteous church-goers. When I was younger, I loved going to church, and of course, primary and Young Women's. Around the time of my mid-teens, I didn't feel as strongly about the church as I did when I was younger. I wasn't as enthused about going to church or mutual and I wasn't excited to be there when I was there, which was still every week because of my blessed parents. I had a bit of a falling away, if you will. At that point, I wasn't sure that I wanted to be a member when I was older. As I'm sure you can guess, I wasn't as happy as I could be at this time, but I couldn't see that then because I had the world's blinders on that blocked out the Gospel and church. After some time and a few significant experiences, I was fully devoted to the Gospel and I had never been happier. I had always had a testimony, but now it is stronger than ever. I am a Mormon because I have been truly converted. I love this Gospel and I am so blessed to be a part of it. I love knowing that one day, I will be able to live my Heavenly Father again and I strive to be worthy of this gift. Christ's Atonement is a never-ending gift that is available for everyone. In 2 Nephi 2:23 it reads," It is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do." Grace is truly a blessing that will lead to our salvation. I can do all that I can to get to eternal life on my own, but it will never be enough. My Savior, Jesus Christ doesn't just make up the difference and finish what I couldn't; He makes all the difference. I love my Savior and I am eternally grateful for His Atonement and for the opportunity to be able to live with Him again, despite my sins and weaknesses. I love this Gospel and I know that this is the true Church. I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be an example and trying to live like my Savior did. I always try to be kind to everyone I meet. I enjoy going to church every Sunday and I like to learn all that I can in church; I love the spirit that I feel when I go to church. I have always enjoyed the callings that I have been a part of and I have always tried to fulfill my callings the best that I can. I try to be the best person that I can.
