Hi I'm Cydni

I have lived in Utah most of my life. I am a Nanny for two fantastic kids, and a receptionist during the day... I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Utah for 16 years, though, not all consecutive. My father serves in the U.S. National Guard, so when I was younger, we moved around quite a bit. I love the beauties of the mountains here and nowhere else will ever be home to me. I am currently in preparation to serve a full time mission and couldn't be more excited. I have 4 siblings and a brother-in-law. I am a soon-to-be aunt and I can't wait for that little one to get here. I work as a nanny for a family with two children who have become a huge part of my life. I love them dearly and will them along with my family when I leave in January of 2016.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this Church and have grown up hearing about Jesus Christ in my home. Although my household are all members, that is not why I have chosen to stay living the Gospel. In my mid-teenage years, I struggled very hard with Depression. I had doubts, I felt like God had abandoned me. Even when I couldn't feel Him near, I had to put all my faith in Him. I knew that one day, it would all be okay. I learned that from my Savior. It has been a few years since my hardest struggle with Depression and now, looking back I can see that He never abandoned me. He was holding me up the whole time. Even when my faith in Him was lacking, He never turned back and I am here because of Him. I am a Mormon because it gives me the greatest happiness I've ever felt. I never thought I would be in regular attendance at my Church or go on a mission to teach complete strangers, but that is what the Gospel of Jesus Christ does to you. It changes you into the person you never thought you could be! I am so happy living my Mormon faith. And I will never stop.

How I live my faith

I try my best to live my faith everyday by loving like Christ did. I have a very big heart and I try my best to help everyone the best I can and to accept them with open arms no matter what. It is not always easy to love someone, but in times when I am finding it hard to love, I remember my Savior. He truly loved every single soul. If he can love the liars, the cheaters, the criminals, why can't I extend my hand to my neighbor who isn't that much different than myself. I believe that the one principle that holds this Gospel together is Love. If we love our neighbor, we will be happier and we will see a change in our life.
