Hi I'm Dalin

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am currently serving a mission in Asuncion, Paraguay.

About Me

I am a very active person. I love to play sports and throughout high school I played almost everything offered: soccer, volleyball, football, golf, track and field and cross country. I graduated and received my mission call to the Paraguay, Asuncion mission. Following my mission I have been accepted and plan to attended BYU Provo.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. It is another testament of Jesus Christ, going hand in hand with the Bible. The Book of Mormon is true and through it we can come closer to Him and better understand our purpose in life and His plan for us. It is the keystone to my religion. Joseph Smith was a modern day prophet and translated the Book of Mormon through the divine direction from God. One of the strongest testimonies that I have every heard of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon was given by Jeffrey R Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in the October 2009 session of our church's semiannual general conference. I would invite all those who struggle with the Book of Mormon to listen to his talk. Read the Book of Mormon and pray about whether it is true. I promise through my own personal experience that you can receive an answer to your prayers.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through the service of others. Every month I go and check in with two families to help them with anything that they need. I have gone with my bishop to visit the sick in the hospital. I also received my eagle scout award and often attend other service projects through the scouting program, the Church, or through the community. Service is a large part of my LDS faith. Our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love each one of us and taught that we must love and serve others as well.
