Hi I'm Emelia

I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. I am lucky to have always been a member of the LDS church.

About Me

I'm a freshman at BYU-I and a music education major!

Why I am a Mormon

By following God's commandments I give myself the best chance for success and happiness in my life!

How I live my faith

My calling in the church is to check on my ward sisters and encourage them to complete their visits to other ward members each month!

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Emelia
Grace is the power that allows us to live with God again! It helps us change daily to live more righteously. Grace is about transformation. Before I really understood grace, I thought that if I did all I could, the savior would make up "the rest" at the end of my life. He would fill in the rest of the gap that I needed to get to heaven. Now I know that He didn't just fill in the gap. He paid for ALL of my sins, and my attempt to fill the gap was just how I show my appreciation and love for Him. Christ is not so much concerned with us trying to pay him back with but the growth of the individual. He doesn't abandon us in this earth life and then save us after we tried the best we could. He is with us every step of the way of our earthly journey, helping us change to be more like him. "Grace is not the prize at the end of the climb. It is the enabling power throughout." Christ didn't just make up the difference, he makes all the difference! Without grace we could not live with our Heavenly family again. Show more Show less
