Hi I'm Kaitlyn Datwyler

I have lived in Utah my whole life, I love learning new things, and being in nature. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Kaitlyn, and I love being outdoors. I love hiking, biking, swimming, climbing, skiing, and especially running. My life is extremely busy with school, work, family, roommates, sports, my ward calling, and homework. But I know that being busy is good for me. I am majoring in Elementary Education, and am loving all of my college classes. I love learning new things, and creating things with my hands.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family and through trials and asking for myself I have come to know that this Gospel is true. I love being a Mormon. Some people say that the commandments that God has given us are too strict and restrict us. I love following the commandments (although it is sometimes hard) I know that it truly keeps me free and blesses my life. I love the cleansing power of the atonement and know that I can be forgiven of my sins. I also love how families can be together forever, I love my family and want to be with them forever.

How I live my faith

Since I am a college student, I am in a singles ward. I am really enjoying it. I am on the ward activity committee, so I get to help plan the activities for our ward. I love planning things and watching it all come together, I especially like seeing people enjoy the things I have helped with. I love seeing results of my hard work. I am also a visiting teach in my ward, I go each month and visit two sisters in my ward. I love being able to get to know people and being able to connect with them. I also know that as I teach them and as I bear my testimony to them, I know that my testimony is being strengthened also.
