Hi I'm Juliann

I'm from Texas. I play violin. I run. I powerlift. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Originally from Plano, Texas, I grew up an artist and musician. I just graduated from BYU-Idaho in Music Education (Orchestra Emphasis). I am currently student teaching in Las Vegas. I play violin and studied it in college. I play piano and double bass, as well. Music is my passion. I like to teach and help others discover the beauty offered in this life. I love living healthy. I love to run, cook, and powerlift. I have been on a weight loss journey for two years now and have lost around 60 lbs. I'm determined and I work hard. I like to set goals and reach them. I have received my mission call and will be serving for 18 months in the Washington Federal Way Mission, English speaking. I leave for the Provo MTC on January 20, 2016.

Why I am a Mormon

This is the only thing in this world that brings true, lasting happiness. It is the only way to find peace amongst all the trials and tribulation in this world. It holds all of the answers to all of life's questions -- all of them! The Savior, Jesus Christ, died for all of us that we may live. He knows what it's like to hurt. He knows what it's like to have a bad day. He knows the sorrow of sin. He experienced every single bad thing we ever experience in this life. He knows what it's like, and He's paid the price. Because of Him, we do not have to feel the brunt of our trials and tribulations forever. Because of Him, we can be redeemed from our sins and be forgiven. Because of Him, death is not the end. We will all live again. That is why I am Mormon. It's the real deal. It's peace. It's happiness. It's the answer everyone's looking for.

How I live my faith

The gospel is my life. It conducts everything I do, say, and participate in. I strive every day to become more like my Savior, Jesus Christ, in the way I interact with others. I try to live as a constant example of this gospel and the happiness and joy it can bring. I have a wide array of influence on many other people as a teacher, and I use that opportunity to be a light for others. I am very involved in my ward as a Ward Missionary, Sunday school teacher, and pianist for some of the meetings. I go out with the Sister Missionaries once or twice a week and help them with lessons. I enjoy being able to serve others.
