Hi I'm Saul Vergaray

I'm Saul Vergaray, I'm sixteen years old. I was born in Utah, but I was raised with a Latino culture. And I'm a cancer survivor

About Me

I'm Saul Vergaray, I'm sixteen years old. I was born in Utah, but I was raised with a Latino culture and now I live in Provo Utah . I'm the second of three kids. My oldest brother Marco is 24, my youngest brother Elias is 11 and I'm sandwiched right in between. I am a cancer survivor, I was diagnosed in 2013 but the effects were affecting me since 2011 but I had no idea what it was. Finally in September of 2013 I woke up blind and I told my parents. They took me to my eye doctor, but he couldn't find anything. So we went to get me an MRI and that's when we found 4 brain tumors. I've been in remission since 2014 and I'm doing great

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the companionship that thIs religion gives. There are so many loving people in this church. So much love is given with the people and the lord Jesus Christ and God and the Holy Ghost. The scriptures show me so much, especially how to live a more Christ like life, and how to love and how to bless those in my life

How I live my faith

My testimony is what really motivates me to practice my faith. That experience with cancer has brought me closer to Christ and has increased my love for him, and for God's plan. I love attending seminary at Timpview high. I love being a priest and the blessings and duties that come with being one.
