Hi I'm Brooke

I love being happy! I'm a runner and an Idahoan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am proud to be an Idaho potato! I just finished my first semester of college and I am now preparing to serve a mission in Los Angeles, California for a year and a half. I love running and cross country is by far my favorite sport. I have more recently gotten into working with horses and helped train a wild mustang last summer. I love doing ground work with horses and of course riding. I love the great outdoors and am always ready to go running or hiking in the nearby mountains!

Why I am a Mormon

I am blessed to have grown up in the church and have great parents who shared their testimony with me. As I got older, I learned through a number of experiences that that the only true happiness in life comes from living by the teachings of Jesus Christ. Through living the teachings of the gospel, it is possible to find lasting happiness. It is not possible to be truly happy another way. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is what has brought me the most joy in life. The gospel has helped me understand why I am here on earth and what my purpose in life is.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day as I go about my life. In high school I was involved with 4-H, Cross Country and Track. As I participate in my daily activities I make an effort to live like I believe as I choose to use clean and uplifting language and make an effort each day to be friendly to others. I have a testimony of the power that comes from studying the scriptures and praying early each morning at the start of my day. As I have done this, I have felt guided and directed by the spirit and have been prompted to do things I would not have otherwise done.
